Philip did not speak but merely held up one finger. Arlene, on the other hand, used her communicator to transfer the money to Philip.
“100,000 star dollars has arrived. Please check your account!”
Philip was surprised. Arlene was so generous to transfer 100,000 star dollars to him.
“Is it enough?” Arlene asked Philip.
Emily and Iris looked at Arlene in surprise. The actions of these big families were different indeed, 100,000 star dollars in one go.
“Be punctual at one o’clock in the afternoon. Don’t be late!”
After saying this, Philip waved his hand at Arlene.
After Arlene left, Iris asked Philip, “You just accepted her star dollars like that. Doesn’t your conscience hurt?”
Philip ignored Iris and got ready to eat something before heading to his cram school.
“I turned her from a white husk into a level 2S elemental practitioner. Do you think I cheated her? Not to mention 100,000 star dollars, even if it’s 200,000, I don’t think it’s too much…”
Hearing that, Iris pondered for a while and actually agreed with his reasoning.
As Iris was about to talk to Philip again, Philip checked the time on the communicator and pulled Emily out the door.
It was still early but Philip did not want to continue talking to Iris. However, when Philip brought Emily to Leopard’s boxing arena, he found that the place was a mess, and there was no sign of Leopard at all.
Several of Leopard’s buddies were groaning and rolling on the ground.
Philip immediately walked in with a frown and asked, “What’s going on?”
Hearing that, one of the men looked at Philip as if he had seen his savior.
